Best Mexican food we've had in a long time! Very good service too!

Probably my favorite place in Baxter to get a meal. Staff are very attentive and friendly. The Food is always hot and delicious, they have great drinks, Reasonable prices. I Will be coming back for sure

Our family loves this place, we are regulars. We definitely feel as family when we're there. The food is always fantastic for us, though there is no such thing as a perfect restaurant. Like anywheres else, you need to time out your visit to get the freshes and best experience 😎 The experience is what you make it out to being.

We were long time fans of El Tequila. It was our favorite place in town. Unfortunately since they moved it seemed like it became more about mass production than quality. It’s really a shame! My favorite dish in the whole world no longer tastes the same as the shredded beef is now very greasy, lacks flavor and was full of onions. Why change something that wasn’t broken? The prices were jacked up and also with all the new employees our service experience has decreased drastically. We finished our whole meal last time without being checked in with. That would’ve never happened at the old place!! We use to eat here every week. After our 3rd poor experience in a row we’ve now taken our business elsewhere. Very sad!

Service, food, and atmosphere all were great. Our waiter was on top of it. Sat outside to enjoy the warm 🌞, and he voluntarily brought us an extra cup of ice for our margaritas. He was prompt and thoughtful with everything. My new favorite place to go when I visit the Baxter area.

Service was very friendly and they were quite attentive. Large menu, lots of selections. Kids menu had more options that a typical restaurant. Prices were a bit higher than I'm used to for Mexican food, but not terrible.

The service is fast, courteous, and the staff always greets us with a smile! The food is true Mexican and I highly recommend trying the tacos or fajitas, both are fantastic.

We stopped in for a quick lunch at there new location. Friendly staff and spacious dining area. We ordered the chicken fajitas. Our order came out quickly and it was delicious. We will be back.

El Tequila is one of the very best Mexican restaurants that I have ever been to. I have never had a bad meal there. Their chips and salsa are wonderful, as is their Queso Dip. My favorite dish on the menu is the Chori Pollo. I never liked refried beans until I had theirs. I highly recommend trying them if you are in the Brainerd area.

Very impressed with this restaurant! We had patio seating which was clean and there was nice music in the background. Our waiter was impeccably polite and the food came fast! Amazing service and a good atmosphere! Servings sizes are actually filling unlike other places. The food was yummy!

Love the bright and sunny atmosphere of this restaurant! Authentic Mexican cuisine, this is not your typical Tex-Mex joint most of us westerners are accustomed to. The interior decor is fun and colorful, very clean and inviting, with friendly and fast service. The menu is pretty extensive, offering many options, the portions are larger than what you pay for and the food is delicious. We were shocked with how quickly we got our food, very impressive and the plates were huge. I can't wait to try several other items, definitely a new favorite place to dine that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and is legit Mexican goodness!

Everyone was very friendly! We were seated right away. When we ordered the food came out very quickly. Good portions for the price along with tasting good. The only complaint I have is we asked for another bowl for salsa and never got one.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine this is the spot. Flavors are always so amazing and the staff is fantastic.

The food was tasty. It was on the pricier side, and frankly I like a different Mexican restaurant better as far as the food goes. I do have to say they have excellent service. Mind you everyone's taste buds are different, so do give them a try

Great place for Mexican food! Quite a lot to choose from, delicious, and the portions are large. Unlimited chips and salsa until your food arrives. Also seems to be a popular spot too, as we heard Happy Birthday sung more than once and by the time we left, there was a wait line by the door. The service is okay. I felt it was a tad slow, but the waiters and waitresses were very responsive otherwise. Perhaps they need more staff? I recommend the visit. We'll be returning.

First of all the food was amazing, great service and really hot and well prepared food. Now for the most important part - this was the most COVID 19 compliant restaurant I have visited between the Nisswa area and the twin cities. They have gone above an beyond other eateries in the area, seats are blocked off so there is definitely 6ft distance, plenty of hand sanitizer. Watching them clean ever item handled by customers (tables, check books, everything!!!) made me feel very safe. This place should be commended for their pride in keeping customers and their selves safe. Safest I felt visiting a food establishment by far, thank you management and staff you are what makes America Great!!!!!

Best burritos and horchata around! Went for the first time last week and liked the burrito and horchata so much I went back just a few days later. Burritos are very big I get the supreme

Food was good, service was great, and picture of margaritas was missing the tequila! Little more costly than other similar restaurants.

The chili rejeno was totally delicious and everyone who works there was super nice. I also appreciated the outdoor seating

They were social distancing. The waiter in a hurry to take our order. Didn't ask if we wanted dessert. Felt rushed to get out of there. Not cordial.

We loved their food. So much flavor. The meats were incredible. Especially enjoyed the carnitas and chimichangas.

My wife and I took our Granddaughter here for lunch today my Granddaughter says 5 out of 5 and she loved it. Started out with complementary chips and pick de Gallo which were above average although mild. The entrees were copious and delicious. Service was good. We will be back.

Great food wonderful service and didn't have to wait long for food to come out. They serve you chips right away for free and refill it too. The price is good for how much you get.

Food was awesome!! & the staff was so friendly! Our waiter was very helpful. The manager even stopped by and asked how everything was. You can tell they care about customer service.

We have stopped here a few time while heading home from the cabin. The food is good, prices are decent and the service is pretty fast. We ordered the queso dip and it was never brought out to us, also our waiter never came by to ask how things were, so we didn't get a chance to ask for our dip.

El Tequila was amazing!! We came in with a large group of girls and all of the staff were super fun and nice. We stayed out past their closing time but they didn’t kick us out and Manuel was such a great server! He, and the rest of the staff, made the night so much fun and made us want to come back again! The food and drinks were amazing as well, overall a fantastic experience

My daughter has a medical condition that mimics heart attacks and strokes. While eating at the restaurant she had an episode and the staff was completely amazing helping us get what we needed to help snap her out of the episode. Not only is the food great but the people here are great!!! Cannot say enough great things about this place!!!
